I have been a 4 day a week, yoga regular for 10+ years. When I fell off a ladder 10 days ago and broke my heel I began looking on line for a chair routine I could do during the healing process. Sherry, this class is wonderful for that purpose. There were some things I couldn’t do (common sense must prevail), but on the whole, I feel as though I am getting much of what I get from my regular practice. Thank you!

Thanks Sherry, this class is very much in line with what I want to offer to the community locally – I am leaving my office job to focus on yoga & reiki and you have been an inspiration to me – I love the fruit picker sequence – especially as there is a statue of a fruit picker outside of the community centre where I teach! They’re the source of information and inspiration for my own chair base yoga classes that I am running in a local charity day center for seniors. I couldn’t do it without you. I just want to thank you for posting this video, it’s 4:25 am I’ve been up for hours scared to go to sleep because I have chronic lower back pain and I didn’t want to wake up pain and not be able to get up for work or take my kids to school, you have no idea how much this has helped release so much tension and stress I’ve been carrying around 😭🙏🏾❤️ thank you so much.
Hi Melvia! I feel you are carrying alot of the “weight of the world” in your being. As a mom and employee, that is alot of responsibility to carry. Your low back is exhausted from the load. Please take time every evening to stretch out your low back, do some gentle twisting motions and breath really long and deep into those tight spaces. Learn to let go of the tension and you will find your back won’t ache as much. Repeat these words… “I Let Go.” The best time for you to do Yoga is right before bed so that you sleep well and get some good rest. I hear you, I feel you and I am cheering you on.
